Never ones to rest on their laurels, the dawning of 2019 sees Bastille in the midst of a flurry of activity in the run up to the release of their third album, Doom Days.

They're kicking off the year an intimate run of sold out shows across major cities in both UK and Europe in February and March 2019. The live shows will give fans the opportunity to hear new material ahead of their hugely anticipated third album which is set for release in late Spring.

Dan Smith Says "We've spent most of this last year working on loads of new music and touring different versions of our songs so now we're excited to head back out and revisit more intimate rooms and play a bunch of new songs in the lead up to our new album"

Since the release of 2016's 'Wild World,' the band have entered many new spaces. In 2017, they moved into the world of film soundtracks contributing 'World Gone Mad' to Netflix movie Bright and last year the band released the huge global hit single 'Happier' with Marshmello which has topped charts around the world and is already a Platinum record in both the U.S and the UK, with over half a billion streams worldwide. They also gave their songs a fresh reworking on the critically acclaimed sold out Re-Orchestrated Tour which garnered four-star reviews across the board. Also in 2018 the band returned to their roots with the 4th installment...

of their Other People's Heartache mixtape.

Over the course of their career the band have played over 500 shows across six continents, including the critically acclaimed Re-Orchestrated tour, and have amassed 15 million single sales and 6 million album sales globally. Both Bad Blood and its follow-up, 'Wild World,' reached No.1 in the UK and the top 10 in the US, and their music has been streamed a staggering 3.5 billion times. They've not gone without awards recognition either: after winning British Breakthrough Act at the BRITs, the band have earned Grammy, AMA and MTV Europe Awards nominations.

With the forthcoming tour, a brand new album and headline festival slots across the summer, including the NME stage at next year's Reading festival, 2019 looks set to be another huge year for Bastille.
