Soak in the wonderfully ethereal and moving debut, Prism of Love, from East London artist Blakey. Recently signed to 37 Adventures after the initial self-released version picked up significant blog coverage from likes of Noisey, Clash, and TMRW among others last year, Blakey started to work with fellow label-mate JONES after she fell in love with the track upon her first listen. It’s easy to see why with the ebbing synth providing a dreamlike state for Blakey’s arresting baritone and falsetto vocals of heartbreak and lost love to shine through. With the addition of JONES to the mix, she adds a disarmingly playful parallel to his earnest fragility and one that weaves new soulful melodies to this beautifully widescreen production. The track became a streaming hit, reaching 300k within two weeks of release, making it on New Music Friday listsin countries across Europe, including the UK, and sitting highly in the Spotify Viral charts and major mood playlists. The follow up is due for release soon.

Simply stunning. For fans of Bon Iver, James Vincent McMorrow, and Frank Ocean.
