Dan Stock

Having established himself as a solo artist across the last twelve months, Milton Keynes based Dan Stock’s first release, ‘Bright Ideas’, debuted on Huw Stephens’ Radio One show to an abundance of recognition and praise for his unforgettable and candid quality of Songwriting.

“Awash with attitude and importance, tightly rolled up in anthemic brilliance”

Recent recording sessions at Egypt Lane Studios (Buckinghamshire) with Jack Gooderham, drummer/percussionist of London based band Wyldest, yielded a collection of killer songs, instantly fitting of the soundtrack of our lives.

“A thoroughly exciting, complete and exceptionally talented young songwriter.  What’s most exciting is Dan Stock is only just starting to scratch the surface.”

Fuelled from a young age by a burning desire to create, Dan spent his youth buried in a rich record collection which spans from Bruce Springsteen and Elvis Costello to The Streets and Roots Manuva. His ear for melody paired with a knack for words which find the beauty in the details has resulted in a sound which strikes a balance between familiarity and newness.

It is on the live circuit that Dan Stock is most exciting and a series of UK dates throughout 2017 will spawn even greater attention, setting the pace for a full album release in 2018.
