Liza Anne

Originally hailing from the quiet coast of Georgia, Liza Anne has found a home in Nashville as an indie artist exploring rock, folk, and experimental music. At only 19, Liza independently released her debut album, The Colder Months, in February of 2014 and has been building a following ever since. On May 19th, 2015 Liza Anne independently released her sophomore album, TWO.

After traveling consistently over the past two years, Liza has grown as an individual, so it's only natural that her sound has expanded and evolved as well. On TWO Liza strives to find the balance between staying authentic to her folk/singer-songwriter roots, and experimenting with fuller instrumentation and layered sounds.

Over the past year Liza Anne has shared the stage with incredible musicians around the world including Marc Scibilia, Sea Wolf, Leighton Meester, FYFE, Dana Williams, Elenowen, and Young Summer.  While traveling throughout Europe, Liza played for Communion Music in London opening for FYFE at his album release show.  In July, Liza was invited to play the first in-office performance at SoundCloud's brand new world headquarters in Berlin.  By August Liza was back in the States and continued to play intimate house shows up and down the East coast with her collective of Nashville musicians known as KINDRED.

Recent career highlights include: a Tin Pan South appearance in Nashville with Sam Palladio (Nashville), an iTunes Music New Artist Spotlight feature, playing Moeller Mondays (Daytrotter) in Rock Island with Taylor Goldsmith ofDawes, and singing in Damien Rice's choir at The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
