Franko Fraize

Hailing from the market town of Thetford, Franko Fraize is at the forefront of Thetford’s huge emerging music scene. With his sharp witty tales of life in England, Fraize has become the unassuming street poet who manages to instantly resonate with a generation.

Having supported Mike Skinner on the Norwich leg of The D.O.T tour, Professor Green at Wembley, The Libertines at their reunion show in Hyde Park and The Enemy on tour, Franko Fraize has managed to cause a stir. This resulted in his video for ‘Hand Me Downs’ being chosen for the BBC Music Video Festival, which was broadcasted on big screens across the UK. This track was then featured on Sky Sports’ ‘Soccer AM’> and shortly followed by his track ‘Underdog’ being used by his beloved Queen’s Park Rangers on the same show. Throughout this short time he has secured multiple Radio 1 play listed tracks including ‘Watch How I’m Moving’ and his newest hit ‘Treasures’, showing that Fraize shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

2014 was an incredibly hectic year for Franko Fraize and he has and continues to play a big part in putting Thetford on the musical map. Having gained notable interest from major players in the music scene, including SBTV, Zane Lowe, Channel AKA, GRM Daily and BBC Radio 1Xtra, this self-proclaimed ‘voice of the people’ is definitely flying the Thetford flag high.

With the buzz of Franko Fraize failing to falter, his track ‘Treasures’ featuring Kamilla Lovett reached the Radio 1 daytime playlist, bringing his romantically honest manner to the mainstream and continued support from Huw Stephens, Scott Mills and Scroobius Pip.

Franko Fraize’s music manages to captivate many audiences through his use of pop and band orientated beats rather than the more traditional UK rap style, along with his naturally down to earth character mixed with intelligent wordplay and sharp delivery.

With Franko's new track 'Party' produced with his long term collaborator Tone already received a Radio 1 Play from Hwu Stevens
